What is Aviva Femtite treatment?

Aviva Femtite by InMode is a non-surgical scarless labiaplasty. This cosmetic gynecology treatment is performed in-office at Tite Lines Medical Spa by Board Certified Gynecologist Dr. Casey Laws, FACOOG and is used to shrink and reduce the labia and vulvar tissue with minimal discomfort and downtime. This is a vaginal rejuvenation device that uses radiofrequency technology and heat to reduce vaginal laxity and is effective in decreasing the size of labia and other outer-vaginal tissue without the use of surgical excision. This technique has several benefits over the traditional surgical labiaplasty, including no surgical incisions, little to no pain, minimal downtime, and quick results.

What does Aviva Femtite Treat?

Over time, vaginal areas can continue to stretch out causing discomfort and sometimes even loss of self-confidence. With Aviva Femtite, Dr. Laws can tighten and tone the labial tissue without traditional labiaplasty surgery. Lack of incision means no scarring or extensive damage to sensitive tissue. Aviva Femtite reduces excess vulvar and labial tissue and surrounding skin this treatment helps patients with comfort during sports, exercise, or other physical activity. This procedure also tightens and tones vaginal opening while improving clitoral stimulation for better sexual function and enjoyment. Aviva Femtite can also decrease incidence of recurrent vaginitis and vaginal dryness while helping to restore the youthful appearance of the female genital area. Women often report noticing improvements to the size of their labia in just a few days after treatment. However, patients usually see full results after about 6 months. During which time, the tissue continues to shrink and tighten, resulting in shorter and smaller labia. This scarless labiaplasty can result in up to a 50% reduction of labia tissue.

What to Expect during an Aviva Femtite Treatment?

Aviva Femtite, a minimally invasive device, is performed by Board certified Gynecologist Dr. Casey E. Laws, FACOOG, in-office at Tite Lines Medical Spa. During Aviva Femtite treatment, Dr. Laws will make a micro-incision, delivering radiofrequency energy to the labia tissue and into specific areas of the vulva.  This radiofrequency energy will help to stimulate collagen and elastin production and tighten loose tissue. As this device is guided under the skin the vulvar tissue is heated, excess skin is then carefully adjusted around the vaginal opening as well as other parts of the genital area to achieve a symmetrical, smooth more youthful appearance.

How long does the treatment take and how many treatments will I need?

In an Aviva Femtite procedure, the labia majora and labia minora can be targeted in one treatment with the use of local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Aviva Femtite treatment is an outpatient, in-office procedure that takes less than an hour to complete. Most patients are satisfied with results after one Aviva Femtite treatment; however, individual results can vary as with most other cosmetic treatments.

What is the expected downtime?

Unlike the surgical labiaplasty, where patients are unlikely to experience side effects such as dryness, bleeding, scarring, or a loss of sensation. After an Aviva Femtite treatment, patients can expect some mild swelling, redness, and discomfort for several days after your procedure, usually resolving within the first week. An ice pack and over-the-counter pain medications are recommended to help with swelling and pain. There is minimal downtime after a scarless labiaplasty.   Most patients are typically back to work in just a few days after their procedure, however, it is good to keep in mind that you should avoid hot baths, hot tubs, and swimming pools for at least a week after treatment, as well using tampons and having sexual intercourse for at least two weeks. More strenuous activity should be avoided for several weeks.
