How Morpheus8 V works
Radiofrequency energy applied in this procedure induces collagen formation and remodeling, which helps in tightening, thickening and in the rejuvenation of the vaginal and vulvar tissue. Tiny, sterile needles create microinjuries to the tissue, and the body responds by producing more collagen and elastin.  After the treatment, the vagina and vulva become softer and more elastic, making intercourse far more comfortable and pleasurable. The tightening action of Morpheus8 V strengthens the anterior vaginal wall, which in turn lifts the bladder and urethra. Patients experience dramatic improvement in urinary incontinence. In more severe incontinence cases, Dr. Laws may choose to combine the tightening action of Morpheus8 V with the pelvic muscle strengthening action of V-Tone.

What to Expect with Morpheus8 V

Used both internally and externally, Morpheus8V is a non- invasive treatment that utilizes the combination of radiofrequency and micro-needling technology to rejuvenate the vagina and the vulva. Performed in the comfort of our Medical Spa Office, we use topical anesthesia to manage any pain that may occur. Morpheus8 V uses state-of-the-art technology to administer silicone-coated needles beneath the surface of the vaginal tissue. The penetration depth depends upon the area being treated and overall desired results. Once the needles are in place, the Morpheus8 V device delivers a pulse of radiofrequency energy that tightens the soft tissue as it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

How long does a Morpheus8 V treatment take and how many treatments will I need?
On average, three comfortable 30-minute sessions of Morpheus8 V are typical to achieve desired results. Sessions are scheduled 4-8 weeks apart.

Expected Downtime

Patients should expect minimal downtime following Morpheus8 V treatment and should avoid intercourse, tampons, and hot tubs or baths for 3-4 days following a treatment.
