What is V Tone?
V Tone by InMode is an FDA cleared non-invasive technology designed to improve pelvic floor muscle strength for the improvement of stress, urge, or mixed urinary incontinence, overflow incontinence, and function incontinence through intravaginal electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). Urinary incontinence is very common among women. The V Tone treatment is specifically designed to strengthen the muscles associated with incontinence, particularly women who have experienced childbirth or pregnancy and those who are peri-menopausal or in menopause. This gentle, effective treatment series rehabilitates a woman’s pelvic floor muscles to improve the overall quality of life.
What does V Tone Treat?
V Tone rehabilitates weak pelvic floor muscles for the treatment of stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence through electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). Since the muscle bundle that is being strengthened by V-Tone is also the same group of muscles that engage in orgasm, vaginal tightness & sexual function is also enhanced, resulting in stronger orgasms after a series of V-Tone treatments.
What to Expect with V Tone?
V Tone is a non-invasive, comfortable, series of treatments performed in office by Dr. Casey E. Laws or one of the qualified, caring staff of Tite Lines Medical Spa. During a V Tone EMS treatment, safe, low frequency electrical pulses are delivered to induce involuntary muscle contractions and rehabilitate the pelvic floor to restore self-confidence and quality of life, all without surgery or prolonged down time.
How long does the treatment take and how many treatments will I need?
Patients usually receive a series of 8 V Tone treatments for optimal results (typically 2 treatments per week for 4 weeks). Additional periodic treatments to follow may necessary, depending on each patient’s specific condition. Each pain-free session is only approximately 30 minutes.
What is the expected downtime with V Tone?
With V Tone treatments there is no downtime, patients may resume normal activities immediately following a treatment.
